Dark Chocolate and Walnut Brownie

Recreate the popular decadent and gooey Jamaica Blue Chocolate and Walnut Brownie at home with our quick and easy recipe:

Makes: 15 Pieces
400g Good – dark chocolate
500g Butter
8 Eggs
2 cups Caster sugar
1 cup Almond meal
2 tbsp. Vanilla essence
1 cup Walnuts

Heat the oven to 150 degrees.

Place the chocolate and butter into a microwave safe bowl. Melt for 30 seconds, stir and then repeat the melting process until the butter and
chocolate is liquid. It is important that you DO NOT OVER HEAT. Set aside.

In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs. Then add the sugar and the almond meal.

Pour the melted chocolate and butter mix into the egg mix. Now add the vanilla essence. Then add the walnuts to the mix.

Line a deep baking tray with baking paper. Pour in the mixture.

Cook at 150 degrees for 35 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.

Cool in the fridge overnight.

Cut into 15 pieces.

Can be serve warm or cold with whipped cream or icecream.
